    I love soaking in detail work like these pieces. I think your last one has a typo in the caption – I don’t think that’s a 1951. :)

    From an era where companies cared about design and attention to details. Probably had a team just designing hood ornaments and hubcaps. Beautiful…

      Used to be, the designers would design it and tell the engineers to build that. Now, because of all the regulations, mostly around safety, design can’t be as prominent in the process.
