The Bronica article is worth a read…one of the great “also ran” cameras of my youth! If they had brought out the SQ system earlier, and with top-notch lenses, they probably still would be alive and making medium format digital!
I thought it was one of Mike’s best reviews.
Gerard’s story is outstanding!
Oh, and I love your image as well. The colors, lines and subject matter are perfection.
I look forward to Gerard’s stories! Thanks; that photo is one of my favorites.
I can see why you look forward to his writing! Hey Jim, do you still like your new iPhone? The 12 mini?
So far so good with it. Best part is its battery life – soooooo much better than my old iPhone 6s. Really, this is far and away the best part of this phone.
Good to know! Are you pleased with the camera too?
I suppose it’s better than the iPhone 6s camera, but that camera was plenty for my needs and I’m not experiencing significant new photographic vistas with the 12 mini camera.
Understood! I have an eight and am having some issues with it. Battery life is bad and it has just been glitchy. I’m ready to upgrade and move on. The funny thing is that my work phone is identical and I have none of these problems with it.
Wow, that hunger story really makes you think. Thanks for that.
Makes me glad I have a very good day job.
