I thought I’d share this one Instax Square photo at a large size. I scanned these prints at 1200 dpi and applied a little light post-processing to them so the colors matched what I saw on the print. Then I shrank them to 1000 pixels on the long side and applied an unsharp mask.

I’m pleased that the text on this historic marker is fairly legible in this scan. It’s not perfectly crisp, but I can read it.

    Looks like an interesting place, I guess pretty soon it will be fully surrounded by vinyl suburbia.

    I can’t quite read the sign though. Located in Eagle Township in Boooooo…..this inert frugality forgotten invaders a farmhouse…

    • I can probably read it better because I know the context. I know what some of the faint words should be. It’s not impossible that some vinyl villages could be built around here but immediately south of here is a giant park, so at least that will be a limiting factor.

  2. Ooooh – Now that we’re official Hoosiers (with our licenses updated and everything) I’m on the lookout for historical places to visit!
