💻 I love short memoir articles, and Jerome Carter wrote a nice one this week. He remembers chili dogs and Nehi grape soda in his rural southwest Virginia childhood. Read Of Chili Dogs and Childhood Memories

Jim, Love the chili dog remembrance from Jerome! Love your blog; keep it coming! Jeff
My pleasure!
Jim, glad you liked the post! Looking back through your posts from a while back, I see you are from down that way. Where I lived Bluefield was the big city. 😂
I’m a lifelong Hoosier, but my dad’s family is from WV, just down Highway 61 from Charleston. In the last 10 years or so of my dad’s life we used to go back for family reunions. It was good to connect with the WV Greys. Thanks for checking in!
Jeff, glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for linking to my blog, Jim. I hope you get your problems with WordPress worked out. I’m not really happy with Blogger, but I can kinda-sorta make it work. I don’t think my computer skills are good enough to use WordPress.
Happy to share your story, it was a good one. If Blogger works for you, no reason to leave!
