The Argus A-Four is about as simple of a 35mm camera as is possible. But it’s fun to use, and its sharp lens delivers good results. I’ve updated my review here.

Believe it or not, this is one I did not have! :D
I thought I felt a disturbance in the Force!
I’ve since sold my A-Four, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good the lens actually was. Decent contrast, too.
What really surprised me was how resistant it is to flare unless you’re shooting fairly straight at the light.
I sold mine, too, last year. I like the Kodak Pony 135 Model C a little better, and that’s the camera of that type that I kept.
Argus’s Cintar lenses were quite capable.
