Updated review: Yashica Electro 35 GSN

It’s the 35mm rangefinder everybody wants: the Yashica Electro 35. This is the last iteration of the Electro 35, the GSN, and I’ve updated my review of it here.

I believe I had what was an earlier iteration of this, branded for Lafeyette Radio Electronics corporation: the Lafeyette Electrick 2.8. It was similar in design and likewise a good working camera.
There used to be quite a bit of that ‘private branding’ back in the 1950s & ’60s. Another I had was a “Willoughby’s Classic IV” which was a Fujica in light disguise. It too took excellent pictures, and was my first 35mm camera.

Oh cool. I love rebranded cameras. I’m interested in finding one of the Ansco-branded Minolta Hi-Matics, for example.
