Minolta’s SR-T series cameras are great. If you find a working one, pick it up. The SR-T 202 I used to own had a busted light meter but it was still a pleasure to shoot. See my updated review here.

I love my SRT’s. My SRT-101 also ‘lost’ it’s light meter and I haven’t used it recently. But you are correct, I should un-retire it. I can shoot Sunny 16 or (OMG) use my spot meter.
It’s so much easier to rely on the onboard meter, but yes, it’s not the end of the world when it doesn’t work.
