Just one more shot from the F3 on that remarkable T-Max P3200. It did a wonderful job rendering both the light and dark areas of this scene. As I shot this, through my viewfinder I could clearly see a television on top of the cabinet at right. The P3200 does have its limits.

  1. A lovely, atmospheric, timeless shot Jim. I like that right of the curtain is in almost total darkness, except for a hint of a corner in outline and perhaps two lines above that. I think if this part of the picture was brighter it would detract from the overall ambience.

    • Thanks Dan! The lines at the right are part of a cabinet on which the TV sits. I agree, it would detract from the image to see more of the cabinet.

  2. Me thinks it might be Nikon’s classic center weighted metering here telling the F3 to meter for the light coming through the window rather than the limits of the film.
