A dozen years after being gutted by arson, the 1904 Elks building in downtown Madison, Indiana, is being restored.

I first remarked on this building last November when Indiana Landmarks became involved; read about it here.
So, I wonder if the local Lodge is going to move back once it’s done, or if someone else is getting the work done. Can’t wait to see the finished building.
I think it’s being converted into apartments.
I never knew anything about this city – and in fact ‘read’ Madison Wisconsin at first. Looks like an amazing town!
