Konica Autoreflex T3

I have added several cameras to my For Sale page (here), all at attractive prices.

You’ll find a few truly wonderful cameras listed. You’ll also find some that are more beautiful than wonderful. And then there are those that are at least interesting for what they are, and are priced to move.

You’ll find everything I’m selling listed here.

Jim- I was just wandering through your blog this morning, looking at the cameras for sale and reading some of the camera reviews. Enjoyed the comments about the Konica Auto S2. I have two, but neither is in working condition. There was a Monkey Ward’s version too. The device on the railroad tracks is either a ground throw switch stand, or, what I believe, based on the locking device only on the one side of the throwing arm- a derail control with foot release locking arm for the derail position. RR rules require a derail to be on (in derailing position atop the rail) unless the track is in use. Thus the lockable arm to prevent unauthorized persons from moving the derail to the off rail position. Derails were common on industrial tracks where customer employees would move rail cars to re-position them at industry doors or chutes for loading or unloading. Sometimes these moves were not properly controlled and the derail would prevent the car from fouling or entering the main track. Of course it would be “on the ground” as we say, and need to be re-railed.

Thanks for visiting the archives; they get so lonely. I’m on the fence about whether I’ll keep my fully functioning Auto S2 so I’m likely to put one more roll through it to help me decide. Thanks for the color commentary on the rail stuff! I love knowing how things work.

It’s a shame I’m in the UK as I would be snapping your hand for some of the camera’s but alas the shipping would be prohibited, I hope you find good homes for them.

Cheapest shipping I can find to the UK is USPS First Class Package International Service. Assuming a package weight of 3 pounds, it would cost $35.75 to ship. Not cheap.
