Barna Beach

Barna Harbor
Canon PowerShot S95
2016

This placid scene belies the fact that a strong, cold wind was blowing in off the water. So strong and cold that we stayed but a few minutes here.

I take it that Cieb bearnA means Barna Harbor, and not “Drat, my boat has sunk!”

Doesn’t look that cold & windy with the warm sun in that shot.

The Gaelic translator at Google couldn’t figure out what it means. I’m guessing it’s Barna Beach or Barna Harbor. (A beach was next to this site.) The looks of this scene are deceiving: it was about 50 degrees, and felt colder thanks to high winds!
