Self portrait with old cameras

Self portrait with old cameras
Nikon N90s, 28-80 mm f/3.3-5.6G AF Nikkor
Fujifilm Superia X-tra 400 (waaaaay expired)

I picked up an N90s for very cheap (review forthcoming) and it came with four rolls of very expired color film. I got the 28-80 zoom off my Nikon N65, loaded a roll of the film, stuck the camera on my tripod, and blew through most of the roll in a fun evening of long exposures around the house. Not a single photo turned out well (yay expired film), but Photoshop helped them all along. This one is especially a right mess, but I like it anyway.

Nice Jim and I love that tow of vintage cameras, a lot neater than mine collection which is a mess :-)

Thanks Sam! I display a bunch of my cameras around my home, but have most of them in boxes under my bed, under my dresser, in my coat closet, in the linen closet, …. it’s a real problem. After the holidays, I’ll be thinning the herd again.

Little-known fact: the avatar is a b/w conversion of a frame grab from this very short video:

I was on Route 66 in Missouri trying to photograph something with my camera. Not only was it in video mode, but the front camera was selected. I was not amused.

Hahaha while you weren’t amused, you just made my day.
