Any relation to the Lanier office equipment company? My dad is self-employed as an insurance adjuster, and when I was a kid in the 80’s, his Lanier micro cassette recorder and dictation machines were a familiar sight in our house, and for a short time we even trialed a Lanier EZ-1 computer which I believe ran CP/M and was my first ever exposure to word processing, spreadsheet, and accounting software.
